About Your Coach
Learn From Someone Who Knows the Classroom and the OR
I'm Sky, a Certified Surgical Technologist and Surgical Technology Instructor who believes students learn best when complex concepts are made practical, understandable, and relevant to the work they'll actually do.
I have been a Certified Surgical Technologist since 2015 and currently teach Surgical Technology at American Career College in Los Angeles, working with students in both lab and clinical settings.
My current coaching includes surgical technology coursework, sterile technique, instrumentation, laboratory skills, clinical preparation, and CST exam preparation.
I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, which gives me another perspective on how students learn, manage challenging material, build confidence, and prepare for high-pressure situations.
I created The Scrub Coach to provide personalized one-on-one support for students who need more than a generic lesson plan.
